My Practice Philosophy:
"Cosmetic surgery is different from other surgical procedures and must be approached in a different manner to avoid harming the patient. This is the surgery of happiness. The only reason to undergo cosmetic procedures is to be happy. Thus, I believe it is absolutely essential that you learn about your available options and their risks and potential benefits, and that you become comfortable with both me and the selected procedure. If after careful consultation with you, I feel that your desired procedure will not make you happy, I will decline to perform it. While very safe, cosmetic surgery carries some risks - as do all operative treatments. These risks must always be weighed against the potential benefits. When you are informed about the procedure and know what to expect, you are more likely to be happy with the results than those who are not informed."
I have been practicing cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in this area for over 25 years.
Plastic surgery is a very broad field. I am not aware of anyone who practices all of its sub-specialties. So, like almost every urban plastic surgeon, my practice has become more specialized as time passes. It now consists of cosmetic plastic surgery and a few areas of reconstructive plastic surgery, including surgery of the hand and microsurgery. This website focuses on the cosmetic surgery portion of the practice, but I have included links to sites that focus on the reconstructive areas.
The areas of cosmetic surgery in which I consider myself to be as competent as anyone in the world are facelift, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, and abdominoplasty. My goal in this website is to expose you to my philosophy, personality, techniques and results.

I can't guarantee perfect results (be careful of anyone who does!) but I will guarantee that my staff and I offer a degree of professionalism, concern, honesty, competence and personalized service that equals or surpasses any surgical experience.
